Farewell to Stuart

Tomorrow we'll be starting our return trip northward, and we are excited to travel along the East Coast once more.  We enjoyed every moment of our wander southward, and then "paused" in Stuart, Florida, a while.  We took a rest from being on the go, spent time with old friends, made many new friends, and had visits from family who traveled down this way.  We completed some projects, did some work, and prepped for our return trip.  We enjoyed the warm and sunny weather, walks and bike rides, the beach, and the town.  We sailed often along the St. Lucie River...aboard Evelyn and the Schooner Lily, and alongside the Schooner Lily when we both sailed at the same time.  We had a great time, and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Tomorrow we'll sail on the St. Lucie River for the last time this winter as we head eastward to turn north, and before we do, I thought it would be nice to reflect on our stay.  Here are some photos from our time here in Stuart, that I had not yet posted here...

One of Lou's projects...after some practice, he created this hand-carved
